Just had to post these bits of news...though a tad late :

Encyclopaedia Britannica's print edition stops printing after 244 years. It has given way to its digital version. The last print edition being sold is the 2010 edition.
One can't help but feel terrible that this iconic encyclopaedia is going out of print only to disappear into the digital world. One regrets that future generations of library enthusiasts will miss the sheer joy of physically leafing through the pages of the encyclopaedia. :(
